Matthew Miazga, better known as Matt Miazga, is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back in the world’s top soccer leagues. He was born in Clifton, New Jersey, United States, on July 19, 1995.
Matt began his soccer career in 2009 when he joined the youth setup at New York Red Bulls, and he turns professional in 2013 when he joined their senior squad. He has since had spells at the soccer clubs Chelsea, Nantes, Reading, Anderlecht, Alavés, and FC Cincinnati, and throughout his time with FC Cincinnati, Matt played alongside Brenner Souza da Silva, Brandon Vazquez, Luciano Acosta, and Santiago Arias.
His career highlights include winning the KNVB Cup, Supporters' Shield, CONCACAF Gold Cup, and CONCACAF Nations League.
