Matt Stonie Bio
Matt Stonie was born on May 24th, 1992 in San Jose, California. His full name is Matthew Kai Stonie and he also goes by the nickname Megatoad. He is an American competitive eater and a YouTuber. He graduated from Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose and studied nutrition at the Mission College Santa Clara, California, and planned to become a professional dietitian. At 17 in 2010, Matt entered a local lobster roll eating contest in Hampton Beach New Hampshire, and won the $1000 prize. That was also where he made the decision to be a competitive eater. In 2015 he broke Joey Chestnut’s record of eight straight titles at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest by winning the competition in 2015.
