Matthew Davis Bio
An American actor, Matthew Davis hails from Salt Lake City, Utah and is of Welsh descent. His early career consisted of roles in Tigerland and Pearl Harbour, before he got his breakout role in Legally blonde, where he starred alongside Resse Witherspoon in the now classic comedy as Warner Huntington III.
Davis followed his success in the film with television appearances in What About Brian, where he played a main character Adam Hillman and is most recently well known for his portrayal as Alaric Saltzman in The CW’s The Vampire Diaries, where he worked alongside Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev, he then reprised the character in The Originals and will again portray the character in the spin off of The Originals, debuting in 2018.
