Matthew Goode is an English actor born April 3, 1978, in Devon, southwest England. In his early life, Matthew studied drama at the University of Birmingham in the UK after graduating from high school. His acting career began in 2001 while playing in Shakespeare's The Tempest in the theater. In 2004 Matthew was playing as an agent named Ben Calder in a romantic comedy Chasing Liberty and had two Teen Choice Award nominations for the role. One of his biggest roles was in the movie Watchmen (2009) which was directed by Zack Snyder where he played a negative fictional character Ozymandias. For his performance in the psychological drama movie Stoker (2013), Matthew received the Fangoria Chainsaw award for being the best supporting actor. In the fifth season of the political TV series Good Wife, he played a character named Finley "Finn" Polmar, the assistant state's attorney for 28 episodes in the show. The next big movie he will star in alongside movie star Ralph Fiennes is The King's Man and it's coming out in December 2021.
