Matthew Lillard Bio

Matthew Lillard is an actor born on 24th January 1970 in Michigan, United States. He is widely known for portraying Shaggy Rogers in the 2002 fantasy adventure comedy film “Scooby-Doo”. He also appeared in its 2004 sequel “Scooby-Doo 2: Monster Unleashed”. Lillard started his career in 1990 as the host and presenter of the television show “SK8-TV”. In 1994, he appeared in John Water-directed black comedy film “Serial Mom”. A year later, he starred in five films, including the crime thriller film “Hackers”, which also featured John Lee Miller, Jesse Bradford, and Laurence Mason.

In 2011, he made a guest appearance in the medical drama television series “House”. That same year, he made his debut as a producer and director on the film “Fat Kid Rules the Wolrd”. In 2014, he appeared alongside Drake Bell and Brooke Shields in the animated film “Under Wraps”. In 2016, he played a recurring role in the police procedural television series “Bosch”.
