Matuê Bio
Matuê is a rapper born on 11th October 1993 in Fortaleza, Brazil. He is widely known for his 2019 single “Kenny G”, which was very successful, achieving double platinum certification. The song was also viewed millions of times on YouTube. His music blends samba and hip-hop elements. In 2022, he went on tour in his home country to promote his music. Matuê rose to fame with his first single “RBN”, which was issued in 2016.
Matuê began his music career as a beatmaker for artists like Marilia Mendonca, MC Kekel, and Pabllo Vittar. His debut EP “Azul” was a huge success in Brazil. It was highly praised for its mix of rap and samba. Following the success of the album, he was invited to perform at major festivals in Brazil, including Lollapalooza and Rock in Rio. In 2019, he dropped his second EP, titled “Arcos Iris”. The lead single “Nao Pense” had the highest number of streams in Brazil that year. His first full-length album “Vida” in 2020.
