MAVI is a rapper born on 7th October 1999 in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. He was a member of the music group KILLSWITCH. He gained fame in 2019 with his first solo studio album, “Let the Sun Talk”. He was featured in EARL Sweatshirt’s EP “Feet of Clay” two years later. In 2022, he released his second album, “Laughing so Hard, it Hurts”, which was critically acclaimed. He draws inspiration from renowned rappers Prodigy and MF Doom.
MAVI also released the mixtapes “Beacon” in 2016 and “No Roses” in 2017. Also, in 2017, he released a collaborative album titled “Rosewood Records Presents: Killswitch 2017” with the Killswitch band. In 2021, he released the collaborative album “Rosewood Records Presents: Killswitch Vol. 2 2019” with the Killswitch band. He is also active on social media, where he often interacts with his fans.
