Mavi Phoenix Bio
Mavi Phoenix is a pop artist, songwriter, and rapper known to be a multi-instrumentalist. This talented musician was born Marlene Nader. Mavi was born and raised in Austria and through his music, he shares his experiences as a transgender.
In 2004, when he was just 18, Mavi debuted with his first album My Fault. The genre of this album was classified as a mixture of dance, pop, hip hop, and punk. In 2020, Mavi released his second album called Boy Toys. Mavi said in an interview that he was very nervous about this album because it made him feel vulnerable about his experiences as a transgender man.
The Amadeus Austrian Music Awards are the most important award one can get in Austria and Mavi’s music has earned him 5 nominations from the organization.
