Maxïmo Park Bio
Maxïmo Park is a rock band from England. The band was formed in 2000, and its current lineup consists of vocalists Paul Smith, guitarist Duncan Lloyd, and drummer Tom English. The band got its name from Cuba’s Maximo Gomez Park. In the early months of its launch, the initial members played in numerous small shows in their hometowns. The band released its first album, titled “A Certain Trigger,” in 2005, which sold more than 300,000 copies.
In July 2005, the band had the honor to play in the opening event of the Ibiza Rock festival. They released their second album, titled “Our Earthly Pleasures,” on 2nd April 2007. They announced their plan to promote their second album on 30thth January 2007. Other albums released by the band include Quicken the Heart in 2009, The National Health in 2012, Too Much Information in 2014, Risk to Exist in 2017, and Nature Always Wins in 2021.
