Mayra Andrade Bio
Mayra Andrade is a singer born on 13th February 1985 in Havana, Cuba, although she currently lives in Lisbon, Portugal. Growing up, Mayra always had a passion for music. She started performing in her teenage years and took voice lessons at age 17 in Paris. She later met Orlando Pantera and started working with him. In 2011, she worked on the track “Berimbau” with Trio Mocoto. The track was included in Red Hot Organization’s charitable album “Red Hot+Rio 2”.
Mayra released her debut album “Nevag” in 2006. Her second album, “Storia, Storia…” was released in 2009. The following year, she released her third album “Studio 105”. Mayra described her fourth album “Lovely Difficult”, which was released in 2013 less traditional than the other three. Her fifth album “Manga” was recorded in Abidjan and Paris and released in February 2019.
