Maz Jobrani is an actor and writer from Iran. He was born on the 26th February 1972, in Tehran, Iran, and his real name is Maziyar Jobrani. He moved to California when he was young, and he studied political science at UC Berkeley, before he pursued his acting career. He started his career appearing on shows such as “The Colbert Report”, “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and “Whitney”. He also made several appearances in television series like “Still Standing”, “Better Off Ted”, “Malcolm in the Middle” and “The Knights Of Prosperity”. He voiced over the character of Ahmed Farahnakian in the audiobook version of World War Z. As a comedian, he has also toured with the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour. He co-starred in many movies, including Sydney Pollack’s “The Interpreter” and Disney’s production “Descendants”.
