MC Kadu Bio
MC Kadu is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and producer from Rio de Janeiro most renowned for his hit single “Meu Passo”.
Kadu came into prominence after releasing his debut single “Meu Passo” in 2018. The single was a huge success in Brazil and Argentina, charting at number 4 on the Brazilian charts and number 2 on the Argentinean charts. Following his initial breakthrough, MC Kadu has released several hit singles including “Vem Pro Meu Coração” and “É Só Você”. In 2019, he released his debut album “O Som É Nosso” which won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album.
He has collaborated with other popular Brazilian artists including MC Kevinho and MC Davi. Kadu has also won several awards for his Afro-Brazilian funk music including the 2019 Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album. Through his unique upbeat Afro-Brazilian funk style and his socially conscious lyricism, MC Kadu has inspired a new generation of Brazilian artists.
