Meg Mac was born on July 6, 1990, in Melbourne, Australia. She was born as Megan McInerney and she started her career back in 2013 by uploading her independent singles in Triple J Unearthed. One of the singles she uploaded, Every Lie, won the Unearthed Competition. She went on to perform at the Falls Festival. She released the EP MEGMAC which includes the song “Roll Up Your Sleeves” in 2015. In the same year, she released the single Never Be.
Her debut album, Low Blows, was released in 2017 and this album includes the tracks “Don’t Need Permission” and the title track. Her single, Give Me My Name Back, was released in 2018. She released another single, Something Tells Me, in 2019. She is also a featured artist in Dan Sultan’s Reaction single.
