Megan Follows Bio

Meghan Elizabeth Laura Diana Follows is a Canadian actress, best known for her role as Anne Shirley in the 1985 Canadian television miniseries called Anne of Green Gables and its two sequels that followed later. She was born on March 14, 1968, in Ontario, Canada in a family of actors, with her father being a theater actor and her mother is a popular actress as well. Meghan Follows started her career at the age of nine when she first appeared in a television commercial. Later she would appear in a few television series such as Matt and Jenny, The Baxters, and The Littlest Hobo. For her role in the film Boys and Girls, she won the Academy Award for Best Short Subject. The television miniseries Anne of Green Gables have brought Meghan Follows two Gemini Awards. Meghan Follows had many guest appearances in popular television series such as The Ex-Files, ER, Law & Order, Lie to Me, CSI: Miami, and many others.
