Melissa Fumero Bio
Melissa Fumero is an American actress and filmmaker. She was born Melissa Gallo, on the 19th of August, 1982, in North Bergen, New Jersey, U.S. She studied drama at NYU. She made her television debut in 2004, as Adriana Cramer, in the soap opera “One Life To Live”. She made appearances in several popular television series like “Gossip Girl” starring Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, “The Mentalist”, “CSI: NY” and “Royal Pains”. In 2009, she appeared in the independent comedy film “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell” starring Matt Czuchry. In the same year, she landed her first lead year in the movie “Tiny Dancer”. In 2013, she joined the cast of FOX’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, and in the same year she played in the movie “DriverX” as Jessica. For her performance on the series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” she won several awards, including Outstanding Achievements and Contributions to the Positive Portrayals of Latinos in Media at NHMC Impact Awards.
