Melissa Rauch is an American actress, born on June 23, 1980, in Marlboro, New Jersey. She is best known as Bernadette on the TV series The Big Bang Theory, where she played a love interest and later an on-screen wife of Simon Helberg. For that role, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2013. Melissa started as a stand-up comedian on stages around Manhattan and soon made a name for herself on the NYC comedy scene. Her other acting credits include Kath & Kim and True Blood. She also played numerous supporting roles on TV, and she co-wrote and co-produced the film The Bronze in 2015. Her brother Ben Rauch is also an actor. In 2014, Melissa was ranked number 64 on Maxim's magazine Hot 100 list.
