Melvin Ingram Bio
Melvin Ingram III, born on April 26, 1989, in Hamlet, North Carolina, is an American professional football player playing on the position defensive end for the San Diego Chargers in the National Football League (NFL). He attended Richmond Senior High School where he played football on the position linebacker only to continue playing college football while attending the University of South Carolina later. He continued playing as a linebacker before switching to play as a defensive end. During his college football career, he was recognized as a consensus All-American. Melvin Ingram had made his debut by joining the San Diego Chargers in 2012, after being drafted with the eighteenth pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
