Meyers Patrick Leonard, born on February 27, 1992, in Woodbridge, Virginia, United States is a professional basketball player who earned the nickname “The Hammer” for his fierce sportsmanship and athletic enthusiasm. He currently plays for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He first brought his disarming talent to the court while playing college basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini. Leonard signed his rookie contract with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2012 and stayed with them till 2019. He was traded to the Miami Heat in 2019. Leonard has made a name for himself in the basketball world with this distinguished talent and continues to astound his fans.
