Michael Beach is an American actor who was born on October 30, 1963, in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He studied acting in the well-known Juilliard School of Drama in New York City. He made his acting debut in 1986, when he appeared in the TV movie “Vengeance: The Story of Tony Cimo”. He has appeared in over 50 movies and many tv shows since his debut. Among the very first series he appeared in are “NYPD Blue”, “ER”, “South Central'', “Sweet Justice”, “Under Suspicion” and “Spawn”. In 1993 he was part of the movie “Short Cuts”, which earned a special Golden Globe. He became known in 1997 when he played Miles in the award-winning movie “Soul Food”, directed by George Tillman Jr. For his role he was nominated as best actor in the Acapulco Black Film Festival. He became a regular on the 1999 series “Third Watch”. Since then, he appeared on many very famous series including “Justice League Unlimited”, “Criminal Minds”, “Sons of Anarchy”, “The Affair” and “The 100”. Among his movies stand out “Deep Blue Sea 2” and “Aquaman”.
