Michael C. Hall Bio

Michael C. Hall is an American actor born on February 1, 1971, in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. He is best known for his roles in popular TV shows including Six Feet Under in 2001, and Dexter in 2006. He has won SAG awards and a Golden Globe and has earned several Emmy nominations.

He has graduated from New York University, where he received a Master of Fine Arts degree. On Broadway, he performed in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Cabaret, Chicago, and The Realistic Joneses. He also starred in a dozen major off-Broadway plays including Cymbeline, Macbeth, Timon of Athens, Henry V, The English Teachers, and many more. He has appeared in many independent motion pictures including Kill Your Darlings in 2013 alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Elizabeth Olsen, and Cold in July in 2014. He has also appeared in many popular movies including Paycheck in 2003 alongside Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman, Gamer in 2009, The Trouble with Bliss in 2011, and many more. In 2020, he starred in the TV series The Defeated.
