Michael Chabon is a novelist and screenwriter born on 24th May 1963 in Washington, D.C., United States. He published his debut novel “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh” in 1988, followed by “Wonder Boys'' in 1995. Five years later, he published the novel “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay”. The novel won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. His alternate history mystery novel titled “The Yiddish Policemen's Union” was published in 2001, and it received the Ignotus, Nebula, and Sidewise Awards.
In 2012, Chabon published the novel “Telegraph Avenue,” followed by a fictional memoir titled “Moonglow” in 2016. Chabon's other notable awards include O. Henry Award in 1999, Nebula Award for Best Novel in 2007, Hugo Award for Best Novel in 2008, and Sidewise Award for Alternate History in 2008. Chabon writes in different styles for varied outlets. Other than novels, he has published children’s books, newspaper series, comics, and screenplays.
