Michael Chiklis Bio
Michael Charles Chiklis is an American actor, director, and producer known for his work in television and film. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States, on August 30, 1963. Michael began his acting career in the late 1980s when he appeared in the TV series Miami Vice, B.L. Stryker, and Wiseguy. He has since been a regular on the TV series Coyote, Gotham, American Horror Story, Vegas, No Ordinary Family, Daddio, and The Commish. Michael is best known for portraying the protagonist Vic Mackey in the crime series The Shield which features Michael Jace, Jay Karnes, CCH Pounder, and Cathy Cahlin Ryan. His filmography includes the blockbusters Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Eagle Eye, When the Game Stands Tall, and Parker. He received two Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
