Born Michael Lindsey in Boston, Massachusetts on May 12, 1994, rapper Michael Christmas began rapping in the seventh grade, at an after school program. A self-described social outcast, Christmas dropped out of high school but soon gained footing in the music world with his breakout single “Daily.” His first official mixtape, Is This Art?, was released as a free download in December 2013. Follow up single “Michael Cera” gave Christmas an even bigger boost and Complex Magazine named him one of their 25 Artists to Watch Out For in 2014.
His first official album, 2015’s What A Weird Day featured appearances by Mac Miller, Logic, and D.R.A.M. In February 2017, Christmas dropped “Make ‘Em Jala” for Burger King, promoting their Jalepeno Chicken Fries. Single “Not The Only One” followed, for which he co-directed the music video with Hunter Lyon.
