Born on September 21, 1952, in Bradford, England, Michael Hirst is an English screenwriter and producer. Michael Hirst is best known for his work on the TV series The Tudors and Vikings which have won Emmy Awards. He is also well known for two of his most successful films called Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age. In 2017, he officially launched his own production company called Green Pavilion Entertainment. He was chosen to write the screenplay for the movie adaption of the book called The Cry of the Icemark by Stuart Hill. Michael Hirst also wrote and exclusively produced all ten episodes of the historical-fantasy-drama called Camelot. He has collaborated with many famous actors as a part of his TV series and films including Gabriel Byrne, Katheryn Winnick, Gustaf Skarsgǻrd, Eva Green, Peter Mooney, etc.
