Michael Ian Black, born as Michael Ian Schwartz on August 12, 1971, in Chicago, Ilinois, is a popular American actor, comedian, and writer. He began his acting career in 1991, starring in the comedy television series called The State. He also appeared in I Love That…, Wet Hot American Summer, and other popular television series with Stella being comedy troupe. On the set of The State, Michael Ian Black met with the comedian Michael Showalter with whom he co-wrote and co-starred in his comedy troupe Stella and later created the comedy television show called Michael & Michael Have Issues. He has written and published one children’s book called Chicken Cheeks and six books for adults.
