Michael Learns to Rock Bio
Found in 1988, Michael Learns to Rock or simply MLTR, originated from Aarhus, Denmark. Members Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz, and Kare Wanscher formed the Danish pop/soft rock band. They came to worldwide fame starting from their homeland to the parts of Asian rim. They group was initially formed as a tiny bar band together with Richter’s sister. But by the time the band was to make a debut, Richter’s sister left and Soren Madsen completed the line-up.
Their self-titled album was released in America in 1991 under Impact Records. In 1993, Cleveland Int’l distributed “Colours,” followed by 1995’s “Played on Pepper.” In 2002, they released “Blue Night” under the same label. The band never became famous on the Western side of the world, but the Asian audience hailed them as among most popular bands.
