Michael McKean Bio

Michael McKean is an actor born on 17th October 1947 in New York, United States. He is widely recognized for playing Lenny Kosnowski in the sitcom “Laverne & Shirley.” McKean also appeared in the adult comedy film “Dream On.” McKean started his career when he was still a student in college. After the completion of “Laverne & Shirley” in 1982, he started in the comedy film “Young Doctors in Love.” He quickly became a popular figure in the film industry and was featured in a number of films and televisions shows, including “Used Cars” in 1980, “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” in 1987, “Short Circuit 2” in 1988, and others.

McKean also appeared in science-fiction comedy “Coneheads” in 1993 and “Radioland Murders” in 1994. In 1998, he made a guest appearance in a two-part episode of the science-fiction series “The X-Files.” In 2003, he appeared as a guest in the superhero series “Smallville.” The following year, he performed in the musical “Hairspray.” In 2019, he played Sgt. Shadwell in the television adaptation of the novel “Good Omens.”
