Michael Palin is a famous English comedian and actor who was born on May 5th, 1943, in the town of Broomhill, England. It was in a school production of "A Christmas Carol" that he made his first appearance on stage when he was just five years old. This was his first experience in the performing arts. Before graduating from Oxford University, he received his degree in modern history from Brasenose College, in Oxford. In addition, he began creating comic material when he was still an undergraduate student. Then he went on to become a member of the cast of the “Monty Python” comedy troupe. Moreover, in recognition of the supporting role he played in the 1988 picture "A Fish Called Wanda," he was presented with a BAFTA award that year.
