Michael Symon Bio
Michael Symon is a prominent American chef, restaurateur, TV personality, and author known for his bold, rustic cuisine and infectious personality. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, on September 19, 1969.
Symon rose to national prominence as an Iron Chef on the Food Network's Iron Chef America and The Next Iron Chef series. He is mow best known as a co-host on the ABC talk show The Chew, which also features Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly, Mario Batali, and Daphne Oz. He has made numerous guest appearances on popular cooking shows such as Top Chef and MasterChef.
In addition to his successful TV career, Symon has built a culinary empire with several acclaimed restaurants across the United States, including Lola, Mabel's BBQ, and Roast. He has authored several cookbooks, including Michael Symon's Live to Cook, which was named one of the best cookbooks of 2009 by Publishers Weekly.
