American actor, retired professional, sports commentator and author, Mick Foley was born on 7th June 1965. At school, he wrestled and also played lacrosse. During his college years, he watched a steel cage match featuring Jimmy Snuka and was inspired to become a pro wrestler. After training at Dominic DeNucci’s wrestling school, he debuted in 1993 with DeNucci and in some squash matches for WWF TV. He worked with many wrestling promotions like the World Champion Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation, and Extreme Championship Wrestling. Heralded as one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE, he became popular as the persona Cactus Jack which he used from 1991-1996. Foley is a four-time world champion, one-time TNA Legends Champion, and an 11-time World Tag Team Champion. His aggressive and unique physical wrestling style earned him the moniker, “The Hardcore Legend.” In 2013, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
