Mickey Guyton was born Candace Mycale Guyton on June 17, 1983 in Arlington, Texas. She is an American country music singer-songwriter signed to Capitol Records Nashville. Mickey was inspired to start singing at the age of eight when she saw LeAnn Rimes perform the “The Star Spangled Banner” at the start of a sporting event.
After signing her record deal, she released the EP Unbreakable in 2014. In 2015, she debuted her single “Better Than You Left Me” at the Grand Ole Opry, releasing the song and its music video two days later.
