Microwave is an American rock band created in Woodstock, Georgia in 2012, that consists of 4 members - Nathan Hardy, Tyler Hill, Timothy Pittard, and Travis Hill. Nathan Hardy is the lead vocalist and guitar player, Tyler Hill is the bassist and back vocalist, Travis Hill replaced the original member, Wesley Swanson, as the guitarist and back vocalist, while Timothy "Tito" Pittard plays the drums in the group. The band started their career in 2013 when they released three EPs named Nowhere Feels Like Home, Swine Driver, and When the Fever Breaks. In 2014, the band released their debut album called Stovall, their fourth EP came in 2015 under the name Split, and in 2016, Microwave released their second album titled Much Love. Before their last album, the band published their fifth EP named keeping up, in 2018. Their last issue is the album Death Is a Warm Blanket which came out in 2019 and is their most successful release since the band was formed. It gained acclaim, with Loudwire online magazine naming it one of the 50 best rock albums of the year.
