Midlake is a lo-fi rock band formed in Denton, Texas, United States in 1999. The group members are Tim Smith, Eric Nichelson, McKenzie Smith, Eric Pulido, E.B. The Younger, Evan Jacobs, Jesse Chandler, Paul Alexander, and Joey McClellan. Rock and pop are their musical specialties, and their style is alternative/indie rock. Some of their song highlights are “We Gathered in Spring”, “The Old and the Young”, “I Lost My Bodyweight in the Forest”, “I Guess I'll Take Care”, “She Removes Her Spiral Hair”, “No One Knew Where We Were”, “Excited But Not Enough”, “Fortune”, and many more.
