Luis Miguel González Bosé, better known as Miguel Bosé, is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and actor best known for performing pop new wave music. He was born in Panama City, Panama, on April 3, 1956. Miguel is a multifaceted entertainer who started as an actor in 1971 when he began appearing in national films. He went on to act in the films French Twist, Queen Margot, Family Portrait, and Alejandro Sanz: What I Was Is What I Am, but he is best known for portraying the character Juez Dominguez in the comedy film High Heels which also featured Marisa Paredes, Victoria Abril, Anna Lizaran, and Cristina Marcos. Miguel began his music in the late 1970s with the release of his debut album Linda. His discography includes the hit singles Morena mia, Si tu no vuelves, Amante Bandido, Te Amare, and the albums Amo, MTV Unplugged, Papitwo, and Cardio. He won a Caja de Madrid Award at the Alcalá de Henares Short Film Festival for Best Actor and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the L'Alfàs del Pi Film Festival.
