Michael Eliot “Mike” Gordon was born on 3rd June, 1965 in Sudbury, Massachusetts, United States. He is a bassist, singer, vocalist, artist, director, composer, and performer. His musical specialties are pop/rock, folk, county, and international, and his style is adult alternative pop/rock, alternative/indie rock, contemporary folk, Americana, finger-picked guitar, roots rock, progressive folk, and jam bands. Gordon is mostly recognized as a founding member and bass player of the rock band Phish.
