Mike Holmes Bio
Michael James Holmes, known as Mike Holmes, is a TV host, professional contractor, businessman, public speaker, educator, influencer, and writer born on August 3, 1963, in Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada. He is the founder of Make it Right®. He was named Forbes' Third Most Trustworthy Celebrity and Reader's Digest's Second Most Trusted Canadian.
Mike has worked as a National Spokesperson for Skills Canada, WorldSkills Ambassador, and Eminent Advisor to the Canadian Government for the COP15 in Copenhagen. He was an honorary guest speaker for the 2009 GreenBuild conference. He was a judge on All American Handyman, Top Chef Canada, Canada's Handyman Challenge, and Handyman Superstar Challenge.
Mike was the executive producer of Holmes Family Effect, Holmes Makes it Right: Retooled, Holmes Makes It Right, and Holmes on Homes. He has published several books, including Make it Right and The Holmes Inspection.
