Mike Wolfe (born November 6, 1964, in Joliet, Illinois) is American television personality, antique dealer, and collector. He is best known as the creator and co-host of the History Channel's reality TV show American Pickers. The show follows Wolfe and his co-host Frank Fritz as they travel across the United States to buy various items for resale, clients, or personal collections
Apart from being popular on television, Mike is also the proud owner of Antique Archeology, a company specializing in antiques and apparel.
Mike's passion for picking antiques began at a tender age. At just six years old, he started by retrieving old bicycles from his neighbors' trash. This early interest in antiques paved the way for a career that spanned over two decades before he gained prominence on "American Pickers."
Mike's expertise in antique collecting extends beyond television. In 2013, he penned two books on the subject: "Kid Pickers: How to Turn Junk into Treasure" and "Art of the Pick." On "American Pickers," Mike collaborates with Danielle Colby, who is also a significant part of the show.
