Mikey Williams Bio
Born Michel George Williams, Mikey Williams is an American basketballer born on June 26th, 2004 in San Diego, California.
Inspired by his basketballer father “Mahlon Williams,” Mikey’s passion for basketball started at a very young age. In middle school, Mikey Williams played for the Malcolm Thomas All-Stars travel team and was also ranked as the top prospect in the nation for the class of 2023 in the year 2018 by the Naismith National Youth All-American Report, when he was in seventh and eighth grade.
He also formed part of the North Coast Blue Chips Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team, where he became famous while playing with Bronny James, the son of basketball player Le Bron James.
Mikey also played for the Crompton Magic on the AAU circuit in the year 2019 and even broke the CIF San Diego Section (CIF-SDS) originally held by Tyrone Shelley since 2005.
Being noticed for his talents, Mikey has been offered several college and university basketball programs as of 2020.
