Mimi Chakraborty is a well-known Indian actress who was born on February 11th, 1989, in Kolkata, West Bengal,. She studied at Ashutosh College, and holds a degree in English. She entered several beauty pageants, starting with Miss India, before deciding to pursue a career in acting instead. Her cinematic debut was in “Bapi Bari Jaa” in 2012. Mimi is known for her work in Bengali, and she rose to prominence after portraying the role of Pupe in the Star Jalsha serial “Gaaner Oparey.” Yash Dasgupta co-starred with her in the Bengali movie “Gangster.” At the annual BFJA awards ceremony in 2013, she was given the title of Most Promising Actor.
