Ana María Lazo, aka Mimí Lazo, is a Venezuelan producer and theatrical, TV and film actress. Born on 23rd November 1954 in Caracas, Venezuela, Mimi is known for her notable role in “El Aplauso Va Por Dentro” (1996). Her debut in the film industry was in 1979 in the Roman Chalbaud-produced movie “El Pez que Fuma.” Also, she appeared on national Venezuelan television in the famous soap opera “Carolina.” Her debut international movie was in the 2000 movie, “Just for the Time Being.” He acted alongside Patrick O'Neil and Eva Herzigová.
In the 2014 Venezuelan soap opera “Corazón Esmeralda”, she was the main antagonist alongside Jorge Reyes, Juliet Lima, and Maria Antonieta Duque. She has received numerous awards in film and theater. Additionally, Variety and Style magazines rate her, alongside María Conchita Alonso among the best female actors in Latin America.
