Mindy Smith was born on June 1, 1972, in Long Island, New York. As an American country singer, she became popular in 2003 when she sang a cover version of the song Jolene by Dolly Parton for the tribute album for Dolly Parton called Just Because I’m A Woman. The next year she released her first album called One Moment More. Mindy Smith’s biggest hit called Come to Jesus charted at number 32 on the Adult Top 40 chart of Billboard magazine. The same year, she appeared at the Cambridge Folk Festival which was broadcasted on BBC Radio. In total, she released five albums, including one which is a Christmas album called My Holliday that was first released in 2007.
