Minnie Driver is an actress born on 31st January 1970 in London, England. She gained fame for appearing in the film “Circle of Friends” in 1995. She went to Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art to develop her acting skills. In 1990, she starred in a minor role in a television series. The following year, her career took off when she appeared in a TV commercial advertisement for “Right Guard” deodorant.
In 1997, she was nominated for the Oscars Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the popular movie “Good Will Hunting.” The same role earned her nomination for the London Film Critics Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. Other films she featured in from 2000 going forward include: “Return to Me,” “Owning Mahowny,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Take,” and “Ella Enchanted”. She later starred in the drama film “Conviction” in 2010.
