Born on December 16, 1967, in Brisbane, Australia, Miranda Otto started her acting career at the age of eighteen. Her first debut role was in the 1986 World War II movie, Emma’s War. She would not be cast for any bigger roles until the 1990s when she started appearing in movies such as The Thin Red Line and What Lies Beneath. Miranda Otto also stared in the second and third installments of the popular Lord of the Rings franchise and had the role of the beloved Aunt Zelda Spellman in the Netflix’s series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She has also appeared in the Netflix thriller called The Silence. Miranda Otto has worked with many famous actors and actresses such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise, and many others.
