Miss Fame Bio
Miss fame is the stage name of the stage name of the American model, drag queen, reality TV star, recording artist, and model Kurtis Dam- Mikkelsen. Born in San Luis Obispo, California on March 30, 1985, Miss Fame is best known for her appearance on the show RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2015 on the seventh season. Dam-Mikkelsen started his career as a male editorial model in California, but changed things up when he moved to New York in 2011 and became a makeup artist. He found success in the industry and was able to land big-name clients like Wendy Williams, Michael Urie, Martha Wash, and several others. Around the same time he started performing drag as Miss Fame and became the first drag artist to be featured in Vogue Germany after catching the eye of several well-known photographers. In 2015 Miss Fame appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race and placed seventh on the show. After departing the show she released her debut album Beauty Marked in 2015 with the single “Rubber Doll.”
