Mitchel Bakker Bio
Mitchel Bakker (born June 20, 2000) is a professional Dutch footballer, best known for playing as a left-back for Serie A club Atalanta. Bakker made his Ajax debut on September 26, 2018. He joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a free transfer on July 7, 2019. Bakker made his PSG debut on January 29, 2020. Bakker debuted in the UEFA Champions League on October 20, 2020. In his final year in Paris, he won the Coupe de France and the Trophée des Champions.
Bakker joined Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on July 12, 2021. He agreed to a seven-million-euro four-year contract with the club. Bakker joined Serie A club Atalanta on July 7, 2023. Bakker is a Netherlands youth international. He has represented his home country from under-15 to under-21 level. Bakker was named to the preliminary team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in October 2022.
