Morgan Daniel “Mo” Pitney is an American country music singer born on March 24, 1993, in Cherry Valley, Illinois, United States. Pitney grew up getting entranced by bluegrass and country music. He learned guitar and banjo at a young age and soon started performing at several bars and local venues. With his eyes set on a successful musical career, he moved to Nashville and scored a deal with Curb Records. In 2014, his powerful and heartfelt performance at the Grand Ol’ Opry left the audience speechless and earned him a standing ovation. That moment defined his career and soon after his single “Country” was met with marvelous reviews. His debut album “Behind This Guitar” released in 2016 featured collaborations with Morgane Stapleton and Alison Krauss and chartered number 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums.
