Moaning Bio
Moaning is a band from Los Angeles, California, United States. Founded in 2014, the band consists of vocalist/guitarist Sean Solomon, bassist Pascal Stevenson, and drummer/percussionist Andrew MacKelvie. Sean Solomon and Pascal Stevenson initially founded the band. MacKelvie joined them later. Solomon was responsible for writing the first two songs “Misheard” and “Don’t Go”, which they rehearsed together.
They released their debut self-titled EP in 2014. The EP contained two singles. They later released the video for the track “The Same”. The video attracted the attention of Alex Newport who eventually worked with them on their first album. His debut self-titled album was released in March 2018. The album received positive reviews from many people. Also in 2018, they went on a European tour with Preoccupations and Metz. His sophomore studio album “Uneasy Laughter” was released in 2020.
