Mohamed Hefzy, an Egyptian film producer, was born on March 13th, 1975 in Cairo, Egypt. He attended the University of London, where he earned a degree in metallurgical engineering before graduating. In 2005, he established his own production company in Egypt called Film Clinic. Through this organisation, he is able to provide workshops, training, and other opportunities to interested Arabic and African talent. In addition to that, he was on the jury of the Cairo International Film Festival in 2010. Both the Abu Dhabi Film Festival and the Venice International Film Festival have had him on their panels of judges as a member of the jury. Moreover, the films “Clash,” “Yomeddine,” “Luxor,” and “Souad” have been very successful for him.
