Molchat Doma Bio

Molchat Doma is a music band from Minsk, Belarus. The band was formed in 2017, and its current members include vocalist Egor Shkutko, guitarist/drummer Roman Komogortsev, and bass guitarist/synthesizer Pavel Kozlov. The band released their debut album, titled “S krysh nashikh domov”, in 2017, followed by a second album, titled “Etazhi”, in 2018 under the label Detriti Records. The albums became popular on YouTube after being uploaded unofficially under the user name “Harakiri Diat.”

Their album Etazhi had earned more than 2 million listeners by the end of 2019. Although the band was popular across Europe, they did not enjoy the same popularity in their home country. In 2020, he released two singles: the first titled “Zvezdy” and the second featuring Russian post-punk band Ploho, titled “Po krayu ostrova.” The band signed with the label Sacred Bones Records in January 2020. The first album under the label, titled “Monument”, was released on 15th September 2020.
