Molly Shannon Bio
Molly Shannon, born Molly Helen Shannon on September 16th 1964 in Ohio, and is an American actress. Her debut role came with the role as Meg in The Phantom of the Opera. She came to prominence as a cast member of the hit comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live, where she worked from 1995 to 2001.
Some of her most noteworthy roles outside the sketch show are: A Night at the Roxbury, Never Been Kissed, Osmosis Jones, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, My Boss’s Daughter and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. Her most celebrated role to date was 2017’s Other People, where she worked alongside Jesse Plemons and Bradley Whitford. Her work in the film won the actress a Film Independent Spirit Award.
